Description

Perhaps you are keen to head off on a self-guided weekend paddling adventure along the Clarence or Nymboida river with a group of mates. Exploring, sharing, learning and connecting. Riding nature’s natural rollercoaster and enjoying places that can only be accessed by canoe. We recommend having some people in your group who either know this section of river, or have had experience paddling other rivers, before heading downstream without a guide. Even so, it’s better if everyone who is going has some idea how to manoeuvre their canoe, what to do if they flip and how to keep safe.

So why not book one of our safety sessions for before you leave, setting yourselves up for success. It can be good to refresh yourselves on paddling skills and tips, and basic whitewater safety – and this is what this session is all about.
