A brief outline:
The first day, we will meet at midday – so take Friday off work and make your way down to us. Adventures that prioritise time together over work and play are even more nourishing for your connection!
That afternoon we will teach you the skills to manoeuvre your canoe and begin to understand the art of navigating the rapids, as well as all the safety tips you need to know to have an enjoyable trip.
After snuggling up together in the tent that night, we will pack our belongings into barrels and head downstream, carrying everything we need to survive and thrive as a couple and a community in our canoes.
Starting the day with morning wellness sessions that feature partner yoga, and finishing with stargazing or compassionate communication around the fire; this holistic experience is designed to strengthen, deepen and celebrate your connection and notice how it weaves between you, much like a river through a landscape.
Many are wary of putting a couple in a canoe together so don’t expect it to all be smooth sailing, but if you can navigate the rivers of life while still talking compassionately, or even capsize and keep smiling, we think you’ve got good foundations for a long and healthy time together. Come see for yourselves!
