Full Moon Paddle Single
Sunsoaked and sandy-toed smiles seeking serenity, gather at Cabarita. Tip toeing down the garden path we arrive at the calm canals as the sun starts to kiss the horizon. With paddles and a few handy tips, we load our picnic baskets and push off.
We canoe quietly, immersed in the final bird song for the day. Leaving no trace but ripples in the shimmering surface. After we serenade our paddling partners through the tunnel of love, we sticky beak at the canalside gardens and weave among the Melaleuca to a secluded pool. Rafting up together we stop for some sundowners and delve into out picnic basket where we find an array of local treats. As the light fades, soon so does the merriment and laughter, as we slip into silence to stargaze. To soak in the moment where day becomes night, chaos becomes calm.
The strike of a match adds the magical glow of candlelight to our homeward journey, a ceremonious end to a relaxing. We return to the village chatting, another holistic adventure in our wake, refreshed minds and sleepy bodies, ready to flop onto the comfy beds for a night in, or spruce up and head out to a try one of the local restaurants.
